Already the first part of his project – 11,000 kilometers running from Hamburg to Shanghai – Kai Markus Xiong has impressively shown that even seemingly unreachable goals can be achieved. Also the consequences of a serious accident could not dissuade him on his way.

The matter in the foreground and put himself behind always makes him and his concerns authentic.

He is not one obsessed by by searching for extreme experience on the road, but a down-to-earth and sports-loving family man who wants to direct and expand the view of the essential things of the world: the responsible use of the environment, the curiosity and openness to new and unusual as well as the discovery and release of unexpected, finally personal energies.

The whole thing without playing to be a school director, impressive in the matter, in the implementation almost simple, while always following the credo: Everyone can achieve anything – you just have to want it and tackle.

We, from Hamburg Marathon, live this principle together with our participants at #RunTheBlueLine.

The project was promoted and supported by the UNWTO silk road department. Breakdown prejudice by traveling across 8 countries was showing tourism in a special way. We are happy to provide a speech for UNWTO members in October 2018 in Thessaloniki.

Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (Senate Chancellery) together with liaison office of the Free- and Hanseatic City of Hamburg provide us support as sister city of shanghai. In 2016 this partnership celebrate his 30. anniversary. The senate chancellery help us with several contacts and provide us the relevant place for our start event in spring 2017.

The Deutsche Fernsehnachrichten Agentur (DFA) create „nihao Deutschland“ the same time when we start to create „https://www.runmysilkroad.com“ Showing germans in china and chinese in germany is the key of this show.
